Anti-Trash’ project kicks-off to tackle shared-vehicle hygiene issues

The kick-off meeting of the “Anti-Trash”-project was held successfully in Hamburg in February. This innovation project aims to develop a trash and odor-detection system, that can be integrated into car-sharing fleets as well as other use cases in public transportation (such as buses, trams) in order to increase the hygiene and user satisfaction of these services. In the project, ZONE Cluster is responsible for defining the implementation plan as well as providing support regarding the mobile communication infrastructure for service integration. In the upcoming period, the consortium will continue with the development of the trash and odor detection services, and start the preliminary discussions with the city partners to prepare for the pilot tests.
