We have launched our ESG training, which is part of our Automotive Training Programme, with great interest. “What does the new ESG law impose on companies? –ESG-based decision making “, will provide an insight into the essence and long-term relevance of ESG legislation, which is affecting more and more companies. The aim of the training is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of sustainability affecting companies, the legislative background, and to guide company managers on their responsibilities, deadlines and tools. The ZONE Cluster operates as an adult education institute and participants receive an official certificate upon completion of our training courses.
The training is part of our Automotive Training Programme, the first phase of which will include three courses with blended learning of our proprietary curricula. Each of the three courses includes an e-learning course and a face-to-face training session.
ESG can no longer be bypassed
ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), more commonly known as sustainability, is now an indisputable part of our everyday lives. We hear it in advertising, in the media, in a plethora of podcasts. We collect waste selectively, queue up for the reverse vending machine, write solar tenders and haggle with the installation team. We all know that if it’s part of our everyday lives, then the companies that fill our everyday lives with content and products need to respond and address it.
The course will be taught by Ildikó Bognár, a sustainability and ESG expert who, in addition to her background in innovation, is also a consultant on the development of sustainability reports for corporate governance systems in the large enterprise and SME sectors.
Training topics:
– What is ESG? What are the concepts?
– What is the international regulatory environment?
– What are the international standards?
– What is the international legal framework?
Application and more information about the training is available here.

The training is one of the results of our project “Challenges in the Automotive Industry – Competence Development”, supported by the Ministry of National Economy. The project was launched to promote the effective implementation of the Automotive Competitiveness Strategy. We mapped the trends in the domestic automotive industry through an industry survey, focusing on regulatory changes and business perspectives affecting the automotive industry, as well as on the industry competence matrix and the identification of existing competence gaps (skill-gap analysis). Another important element of the project is the definition of the basic requirements and tools for workforce transformation.
